Strawberry Fields
The strawberries have been on for two weeks now and are starting to taper off, thank goodness! The Jams and Jellies have been made and berries have been sliced and sugared for the freezer. Next up will be the red currants!

25 chicks came in the mail yesterday from Murray McMurray Hatchery in Iowa. 15 straight run Partridge Rocks that we use as our layers and 10 Buff Silkie Bantams for Abby to show at the fair.
We purchased "Sebastian" at the Supreme Goat Sale held in Argos, IN from Chad Zahner. He is a nice black head BoerX market goat for Haley.
The trip to the barn Sunday morning greeted us with twin doe kids from Cinnamon. They were all curled up, snoozing away peacefully when we went to check on her. The one is all red and the other a gorgeous red paint.
Our site is born. Pretty much an empty skeleton right now, but look for additions as we get to them.
