RA's Gold Nugget
RA's Red Devil x RA's F286
(Pictures used with permission from Roseart Holland Lop Rabbitry.)
Orange Sr. Buck.
Nugget has heavy bone, good width of chest, crown placement and top-line.
Nugget is an F3 red carrier with a rufous level of 4. He is a very sweet boy and is in constant motion
in his cage. He's all 'business' with the does!

LSR's Odessa
LSR's 50Z x LSR's TCX
Opal Sr. Doe.
Odessa is not a very snappy looking Holland but she makes up for
it with the fact that she carries the rufous modifiers and wide band gene needed for
breeding Red Hollands. Here I only have a 28% change of getting a Red/Fawn (ee) with the wide
band gene. But a 56% of getting something (EE) with the wide band gene. It took several breedings to
get babies out of her, but she has it all figured out now. She is an excellent mom.

GBF's Piper (F4)
RA's Gold Nugget (F3) x LSR's Odessa (F3)
DOB: 8 Mar 2008.
Red Sr. Doe. She has nice rufus coloring on her belly and a nice bright coat. She is a brick!
I bred her back to RA's Gold Nugget and that resulted in 5 orange/red kits. This was her first breeding
and her very first litter. She is an excellent mom.

GBF's Gold Digger (F4)
RA's Gold Nugget (F3) x LSR's Odessa (F3)
DOB: 8 Mar 2008.
Red (low modifiers). Nice orange/red coloring with some creamy coloring on his belly. Lots of ear control but he
is very solid and has great shoulders on him.
He has 4 kits in the box with GBF's Triskit. Hopefully the modifiers have stacked on the
offpsring. And, hopefully, the type will improve.

DOB: 4 Sept 2008.
RA's Gold Nugget (F3) x GBF's Piper (F4). 5 kits - reds/oranges. Such stout little
tykes. Pictured at 19 days. 3 bucks and 2 does. Please inquire if you are interested. All at this
point have upright ears.
DOB: 14 Sept 2008.
GBF's Gold Digger (F4) x GBF's Triskit. An orange doe and a tort doe.
Ideal genetic code of a red is AAbbCCDDeeww+Rufus. A_B_C_D_eeww+Rufus also works.
Step 1: Breed Nugget to Odessa and Chestnut. Eighteen kits to work with.
Step 2a: Late August - Breed does showing red modifiers from Step1 to the best typed self colored buck
from my main lines. Best option here is: White River's Arden (tort aaB_C_D_ee) but Respite
(fawn Aa?_C_D_ee+++) would work also, depending on how he matures. Offspring would benefit from his
additional rufus modifiers.
Step 2b: Late August - Breed any bucks showing red modifiers from Step1 to best typed self doe from
my main lines. Options here include: White River's Darby (tort aaB_C_D_ee), GBF's Triskit or Andra
(fawn Aa?_C_D_ee+++). Triskit or Andra would help 'stack up' the Rufus Modifiers on resulting kits.
Step 3: Two litters of kits to work with, born Sept 4th and Sept 14th. Waiting to see how
they color up and what sex they are.
Step 4: April 2009 - Breed any does from Step2a and Step2b either back to Nugget or to awesome
typed "non-red" program Holland to improve the type.
