GC White River's Arden - Registered - 4 Legs

The Nature Trail's Jupiter (1 leg) x White River's Vesta (1 leg)

August 3, 2007 to August 11, 2009

White River's Arden; a stunning Holland Lop buck. White River's Arden; a stunning Holland Lop buck. White River's Arden; a stunning Holland Lop buck.

Arden was a beautiful buck that I just adored. He escaped from his cage because I had left it unlatched the night before. My dog was helping me get him (see BLOG for whole story), and I think he scared Arden literally to death, or Arden freaked out when Toby was holding him and he snapped his neck. I cried for the longest time. It was a terribly loss for me and I miss him very much.

Arden produced some very nice offspring for me, notably:

GC GBF's Caden (5 legs) - my 2nd place Holland Nationals 2009 SJB
GC GBF's Oscar (3 legs) - now living with Dylan
GBF's Cadee (1 leg) - Caden's littermate sister

GC ELS's Lucy - Registered - 6 legs

GC Miller's Thor (9 legs) x GC ELS's Sandy (3 legs)

Lucy

Broken Tort Sr. Doe. Lucy was a fancy, fancy girl - upright with a gorgeous rollback coat and great head mount. Perfect butterfly nose. A Tommie's Rootbeer grand-daughter.

I made the difficult decision to have her put to sleep. She never recovered from an aborted litter in November '08. She ate and drank fine but she just wasn't the same Lucy anymore. I had been treating an abcess on her front leg for months that just refused to heal.

I was only able to get two kits from Lucy - Patience and Pistol Pete - neither of which are showable.

Sleep well sweet Lucy.

GC White River's Darby - GC#K995H - 4 legs

GC White River's Storm (14 legs) x GC White River's Seneca (6 legs)

Darby Darby

Tort Sr. Doe. Darby was the first rabbit I purchased from Roman. I loved her dearly and had such a fun time showing her and granding her. She was a very upright, smart doe and she had a nice head and classic topline. Producing babies was difficult for her though. She absorbed her last litter and then within days came down with a terrible case of Wry Neck (she was rolling). I treated her for two weeks with no positive results and so decided it was cruel to leave her in that condition. I had the vet put her down.

Sleep well Darby.

Campo's Hobie - Registered

GC Campo's Merlin (4 legs) x Campo's Beauty

Campo's Hobie - Sr. Broken Holland Lop Campo's Hobie - Sr. Broken Holland Lop

Sr. Broken Black Buck. Dear Hobie. Out of the incredible Merlin. He has come here to live out his days and hopefully pass on his awesome qualities. Hobie has the head, crown, ear and topline of an outstanding rabbit! He is the oldest bunny in the barn - born 2001. Pictured at 6.5 years old - looks good doesn't he?! Bloodlines: Pure Campo.

Happy Birthday Hobie! 8 years old!

KNR's Chestnut - Registered

KNR's Jeremy X KNR's Snowbell

Chestnut

Fawn Sr. Brood Doe.

Chestnut & Raven were the first Holland Lops we brought home. Chestnut was just a superb mother. She was a reliable prodcuer - I could count on her for at least four healthy babies in each litter and a couple of times she had six. We kept two of her daughters, Andra & Triskit to continue our Orange program. She is now living in Illinois.

My Working Girls

LL's Avalanche

Broo's Big Tony X LL's Star (1 leg)

Broken Tort Sr. Doe. I need to get a picture of Avalanche. She is such a good mom and nice small doe. I have a buck (GBF's Echo) from her first litter that I'm holding on to for now, sired by ELS's Elden. I really love this doe!

Genotype: aaB_C_D_ee

GBF’s Triskit - Registered

GC ELS's Elden (5 legs) X KNR's Chestnut

Triskit

Orange Sr. Doe. Triskit has a nice top-line and nice short ears. Her crown is slightly slipped, but I will breed her back to Elden to improve that on their off-spring.

GBF's Bridgette

GC ELS's Elden (5 legs) x ELS's Felisa

GBF's Bridgette.

Broken Tort Sr. Doe.

She has a sweet body and nice head & ear, but a little long in that shoulder. She is really a cute doe and is a natural poser, and has since grown into her ears, which really are not long at all. She had a rough start as a mom, but has worked it all out and is a reliable producer now.

ARR's Supersymetry

ARR's Hydrogen x ARR's Treviso

ARR's Supersymetry.

Broken Chocolate-Orange. She has small litters, but is a wonderful mom.

Genotype A_bbC_Ddee

ARR's Jess

ARR's Dedekind (Black Harli) x ARR's Trifecta (Blue Tri)

Broken lilac tort doe. Broken lilac tort doe.

Broken Lilac Tort.

Jess is a cute little doe. She is the most inquisitive thing. I'm happy to have her so that I can make some Lilac's. We are having a hard time getting babies out of her. Hopefully, she will figure it out soon - she is a small doe and that isn't helping.

Tasia's Trinette

Tasia's Treasure x Tasia's Tina

Broken Siamese Sable. A very nice "thank you for helping to get Mojito to me" from Tasia Thomas in Idaho. Trinette goes back to Pitney, Belokonny and Campo lines. AND, Campo's Hobie is a great-grandsire! (Hobie is the oldest bunny in my barn - over 8 years old now).

She is a proven doe, but lost her first litter for me and then retained 2 kits, which she eventually did pass. Thank goodness. We are trying again.

GBF's Courtenay (1 leg)

GC GBF's Tyraid (5 legs) x GC L&R Donna (6 legs)

Courtney, a Tort Junior doe out of L&R Donna.

Pictured at 3.5 months.

BOSV Medina, OH Specialty 11/2009 - 41 entries.

Gorgeous, gorgeous head. Littermate sister to GBF's Taber. She did very well on the tables as a Junior. Her HQ slopes off too much and she will be put to work as a mom now. She has phenomenal flesh and crown placement. Hope to pass that to her offspring. She very well could be the replacement to her dam, L&R Donna, as Donna is an older doe and had issues with her last litter.

GBF's Quicksilver

GBF's Houdini (Siamese Sable) x Plank's Aqualena (Blue)

Black junior doe.

Black Jr. Doe.

So far, I'm quite pleased with how this litter has turned out - much better then I had hoped for. Holding onto for a bit to see how she matures out. She will be a nice doe to make Siamese Sables with, since she carries REW or chl.

Genotype: aaB_C?DdE_

Woodmont's Celcius

R/O Chirp (Siamese Sable) x Woodmont's Shining Star (REW)

Proven REW Sr. Doe.

Ah, the REW doe I've been looking for to solve some of my color quandries. She is a very nice doe actually and I'm thrilled to have her. Noteably, she has The Nature Trail's Mambo behind her.

Genotype: aa B? cc ?? ?e

GBF's Annabelle

White River's Dino (1 leg) x White River's Onawa

Proven Broken Black Sr. Doe.

I'm so happy to have Annabelle back! Currently bred back to her sire. Then, I'll repeat the breeding that produced Izabelle.

Dam to GC KKR's Izabelle - 4 Open, 3 Youth legs.
