GC White River's Arden - Registered - 4 Legs
The Nature Trail's Jupiter (1 leg) x White River's Vesta (1 leg)
August 3, 2007 to August 11, 2009
Arden was a beautiful buck that I just adored. He escaped from his cage because I had left it
unlatched the night before. My dog was helping me get him (see BLOG for whole story), and I think
he scared Arden literally to death, or Arden freaked out when Toby was holding him and he snapped
his neck. I cried for the longest time. It was a terribly loss for me and I miss him very much.

Arden produced some very nice offspring for me, notably:
GC GBF's Caden (5 legs) - my 2nd place Holland Nationals 2009 SJB
GC GBF's Oscar (3 legs) - now living with Dylan
GBF's Cadee (1 leg) - Caden's littermate sister
GC ELS's Lucy - Registered - 6 legs
GC Miller's Thor (9 legs) x GC ELS's Sandy (3 legs)
Broken Tort Sr. Doe. Lucy was a fancy, fancy girl - upright with a gorgeous rollback coat
and great head mount. Perfect butterfly nose. A Tommie's Rootbeer grand-daughter.
I made the difficult decision to have her put to sleep. She never recovered from an
aborted litter in November '08. She ate and drank fine but she just wasn't the same Lucy anymore.
I had been treating an abcess on her front leg for months that just refused to heal.
I was only able to get two kits from Lucy - Patience and Pistol Pete - neither of which are
showable.
Sleep well sweet Lucy.
GC White River's Darby - GC#K995H - 4 legs
GC White River's Storm (14 legs) x GC White River's Seneca (6 legs)
Tort Sr. Doe. Darby was the first rabbit I purchased from Roman. I loved her dearly and had
such a fun time showing her and granding her. She was a very upright, smart doe and she had a nice
head and classic topline. Producing babies was difficult for her though. She absorbed her last
litter and then within days came down with a terrible case of Wry Neck (she was rolling).
I treated her for two weeks with no positive results and so decided it was cruel to leave her in
that condition. I had the vet put her down.
Sleep well Darby.
Campo's Hobie - Registered
GC Campo's Merlin (4 legs) x Campo's Beauty
Sr. Broken Black Buck. Dear Hobie. Out of the incredible Merlin. He has come here to live out
his days and hopefully pass on his awesome qualities. Hobie has the head, crown, ear and topline
of an outstanding rabbit! He is the oldest bunny in the barn - born 2001. Pictured at 6.5 years
old - looks good doesn't he?! Bloodlines: Pure Campo.
Happy Birthday Hobie! 8 years old!
KNR's Chestnut - Registered
KNR's Jeremy X KNR's Snowbell
Fawn Sr. Brood Doe.
Chestnut & Raven were the first Holland Lops we brought home.
Chestnut was just a superb mother. She was a reliable prodcuer - I could count on her for at
least four healthy babies in each litter and a couple of times she had six. We kept two of her daughters,
Andra & Triskit to continue our Orange program. She is now living in Illinois.
LL's Avalanche
Broo's Big Tony X LL's Star (1 leg)
Broken Tort Sr. Doe. I need to get a picture of Avalanche. She is such a good mom and nice small
doe. I have a buck (GBF's Echo) from her first litter that I'm holding on to for now,
sired by ELS's Elden. I really love this doe!
Genotype: aaB_C_D_ee
GBF's Quicksilver
GBF's Houdini (Siamese Sable) x Plank's Aqualena (Blue)
Black Jr. Doe.
So far, I'm quite pleased with how this litter has turned out - much better then I had hoped for.
Holding onto for a bit to see how she matures out. She will be a nice doe to make Siamese Sables
with, since she carries REW or chl.

Woodmont's Celcius
R/O Chirp (Siamese Sable) x Woodmont's Shining Star (REW)
Proven REW Sr. Doe.
Ah, the REW doe I've been looking for to solve some of my color quandries. She is a very nice
doe actually and I'm thrilled to have her. Noteably, she has The Nature Trail's Mambo behind her.
Genotype: aa B? cc ?? ?e
GBF's Caldera
GBF's Tobias x GC L&R Cookie (4 legs)
Proven Sable Point Sr. Doe.
Caldera was a nice surprise. I knew that Cookie most likely carried REW, but had no
idea that Tobias carried the sable gene.
Caldera is such a pretty girl, even though she is a 'normal'. Beautiful top line that carries
back well over her full HQ. Pretty good side to side width and placement on her crown.
Lovely curvature on a huge head. She has really matured into a massive doe, hugh round HQ.
She is a sweetheart. She has weaned her first litter.
Genotype: aaB_c(chl)cD_ee en en
Pictured at 2 months - with those 'normal' ears - and all grown up at not quite 7 months.
